True or false if a train and a car are traveling at the same speed they have the same amount of kinetic energy

Kinetic energy: of or relating to the motion of material bodies and the FORCES and ENERGY associated therewith. Therefore your statement is false,they would not exhibit the same amounts.

I could be wrong but I believe they would have the same amount of kinetic energy. Their potential energy would be different.

No the mass are not the same example wich one weight more 1,000lbs of fethers or 1,000lbs of steel ?
kinetic energy is of mass motion there for it will take more k. e. to move a train then what it will take to move a car example how many cars can one regular size car towe we know the answer is one. Two or three may be to much how ever a train can towe a lot more then five i hope i answer your question.
