Why did God give the Israelites so mayne rules, in your oppinion.

I mean, like, thou shalt not lie and thou shalt not kill are understandable, but is there logical reason for stuff like, mixing different materials to make your clothes and petty stuff like that?

Some of the laws were to reveal to the Israelites how to obey and please God (the Ten Commandments, for example). Some of the laws were to show the Israelites how to worship God and atone for sin (the sacrificial system). Some of the laws were intended to make the Israelites distinct from other nations (the food and clothing rules). Remember they were slaves for so long.

because god is a god of order, he is clean and expects us to be or try to be clean from any evil like he had created us in the beginning

I understand that, and I understand why he made most of them.. but why all the little petty ones?

well he wanted the Israelites (for example) clothing to be different to the rest of the tribes around because all those other ones had different god's and lifestyles weren't that great so he wanted them to be/look different

He didn't. God calls 'the law' the ministry of death.
God gave the 10 commandments. Man did the rest.

Because the leaders of the early Hebrews needed a way to control their people once the Canaanite tribes fell apart and they broke off on their own. Handing out rules from "god" is a great way to keep the masses in line.

God chose Israel to be His special nation. They would look different and act different. Others should have wanted what they had.. BUT they rejected God and made their own rules and laws. They even worshipped idols. Still God loved them.
The laws were made for their good.
Like cleanliness for sanitation purposes. Food that kept them from getting sick. Washing hands even is in use today. In a hospital we wash hands to prevent disease from spreading from room to room. They were even taught to go into isolation to keep leprosy from spreading. And THIS.. About mildue ... We have mildew today to where buildings have to be destroyed. God TAUGHT them how to survive.
We only need 2.....
Love God
Love people

The Israelites had been living in slavery for too many years and did not know how to live as a free people. The laws and ordinances helped them to live as a free and productive people.

Solospirit, hey girlie! I'm trying to find the Scripture that says this, but I was taught that after Moses led the Israelites out of Egypt and before Moses received the Ten Commandments, the Israelites "said" something like "God, just tell us what you want us to do, give us a list of do s and don'ts so we can obey them and please you!" And I recall that God would have preferred them to make Him King over them, so that they would "know in their hearts" what would please Him. So The Law would become a list of impossible feats, and for them to realize their inability to keep the Laws , and come to Him begging for His grace. But, they did not "get the point", and have continued to this day struggling with The Law. God calls them "stiff-necked people", but I have a happy scripture that tell us there's good things ahead for them! Romans 11:11-12" I say then, have they stumbled that they should fall? God forbid: but rather through their fall salvation is come unto the Gentiles, for to provoke them to jealousy. V.12 Now if the fall of them be the riches of the Gentiles; how much more their fulness?" That says we are blessed thru them, and that they will be blessed thru us!!! I will go look for the scriptures to back up what I said if you need them :). Bye friend!

It's like a 2 people that are in the hospital and have the same disease but one is going to die for sure in 6th months but the other has a chance to live, so the doctor puts the one who has a chance to live on a strict diet and many sustrictions while tells the other one he can do whatever he wants because it won't make a difference
So the Jewish people (Israelites) can achieve greater then the other nations but have to follow all the rules

also a lot of the laws have significance from things that happened before the Torah was given for example that u shouldn't mix wool and linen in clothes is because Adam and eves sons, Cain and Hevel both gave sacrifices to god but Hevel gave the best of his sheep (he was a shepherd) and Cain gave the worst of his linen (he was a farmer) so the flame from hevels offering went straight up but cains didn't so out of jeaulasy Cain killed Hevel, so because of that we (Jews) don't mix wool (from sheep) and linen in our clothes

Davood, I think I may have offended you, and for that I am very sorry. I grew up in a Jewish neighborhood, and most of my friends were Jewish. I was welcomed in their homes, and treated to many wonderful meals, and have lots of great memories about those times. But I do have an opinion that is different from yours, and I think that the questioner was asking for ideas, not facts, so please I hope you will forgive me, I've been raised in a completely different way than you have, but I still wish blessings for Israel, and I know about "Tomorrow, Jerusalem!"
