Puss pockets on my tonsils. Tonsil stones? Maybe tonsil removal? Read for further explanation!

I've had a soar throat since thanksgiving and I now have puss pockets on my tonsils. are they tonsil stones? And both of my tonsils are swollen! I went to the doctors about 3 days ago and they said that I had a bacterial infection but then I didn't have the puss pockets! should I go back? my soar throat and swelling has gotten worse! should I get my tonsils removed?

Get them removed you will feel so much better

Did they test you for strep?
