it isnt that there is no oxygen in space, its simply that there isnt enough to breathe, because the minimal amount it has is so spread out, but the sun burns because its highly flammable materials (hydrogen and several other elements) act as a wonderful continuous fuel source

I read the answer at the link "beyoutiful123" posted, but I want to add in there, in case it wasn't that clear (cause I don't think their answer was that great of one).. The Sun doesn't burn Oxygen, it produces and burns Hydrogen which then turns into Helium (which also burns).. and there's also other elements helping to fuel it. Also, at the core is an intense pressure which produces quite a bit of heat, in itself.
