Any tips for raising a PET pig?

And yes I know to keep them away from meat lovers and bacon lovers. But seriously any tips. What some HEALTHY food for them what not to feed, how to train, etc.

Give them apples and stuff. I think. I don't know, I know a girl who use to have a pig, I had to feed it once when they were out of town. This was like 7 years ago, though. So, I don't remember much.

Don't let them walk on the ceiling and forget about trying to teach them how to fly. Mine didn't.

My bro and sis in law raise pigs for meat. But, they feed them anything and everything. My sis-in-law says pigs have great personalities. :)

Oh I THINK meat and keeping them as pets are different. But I could be wrong.

Well, it's the same until my family has them slaughtered. They do the same with their beef. They love animals and have dogs, cat, horse, chickens, etc, too. My brother-in-law did admit at christmas that's it's a little hard on him when they have to slaughter the animals they raise for meat. I think he gets a little attached.

In order to raise a pig, you will need a harness and a long rope, some pulleys, and good strong anchors! Once you successfully raise your pig, make sure you tie the rope to the anchoring point! Walla! You are welcome! ?

I had a pet pot belly named tuba. She was easy to train. She knocked on the door with her nose to get out to pee. Everytime she went to the door I gave her a dog kibble.
I kept a fenced off area in the yard with straw in it and an old quit. They love wrapping themselves up in a blanket.
When I was cooking I kept a pot for daily she got all potato peels etc and I cooked her some rice or lentils or dried beans or peas to cook with the scraps.
They love to eat. They are such pigs! So you should be careful to not over feed once they are grown.
They are smarter than dogs and go for walks with the other pets.
Mine was a girl and I dressed her up and did her nails pink.
So much fun!
