Tattoos in general are bad for your health, but whether they are on a male or female, it really doesn't make a difference. I will say that it's slightly less attractive on women than men, especially as women usually have more sense than men do, but I think they're dangerous, seriously unattractive, and painful. So, yeah, don't get any. Especially if it's just going to be something stupid like a butterfly or bear paws going up your back.

That they are a girl... And they have a tattoo.. Lol nothing special. If they have a lot, then they appear unattractive, but just one or two doesn't bother me at all. Especially when they're actually artistic with some sort of meaning.

im a girl so not speaking attracted here but i mean i think tats can look really trashy if they arent done right. if they are they look awesome. i love guys with tasteful tats!! Also i think tatoos can be really lame if they don't have real meaning to the person. i mean, your going to have this image on your body for your entire LIFE. it should be important. I'm artistic so I've thought about getting one, I just cant though its too much of a commitment for me :P
I don't mind if it's a good quote or something. But it's those huge ones I don't like them. My first impression is that they're mean. Though I've met very nice people with huge tattoos before. But I won't be getting a tattoo anytime soon.
from far away they just look like big old bruises.
up close they may be interesting.
anyways, clothing messes up a tat...for instance a spaghetti strap of a dress crossing thru the 'art'......so options for dressing and showing off tats become limited. i do equate tats as artwork and there is amazing artwork being done out there, but i really wouldn't want to own or invest in some canvas that is just going to get all shrivelled up and cracked with time.
It's fine with me. To each there own. I'm old. Back when I was young the tattoos were poor quality and didnt look good. Now there are some awesome artists and I've seen many woman with great looking tats
I LOVE TATTOOS!!!!!! I have 5 tattoos. There is doves on my hip, my name on my wrist, diamonds behind my ear, stars on the upper left back, and a robot on top of my ankle. I love them on guys too! I hate when girls have them on their boobs or arms.
I think that tattoos can be a wonderful extension of who you are and for a woman to have a lot of work on her body, usually you can tell a whole lot about a person and what they have been through. Also if the artwork is done well, the body is a wonderful canvas for artist expression. I being a male with 20+ tattoos myself, tattoos are a bit painful, but if you can find the proper place in your mind you can turn that pain into therapy. I hope this provides a bit of insight to some of you naysayers who I believe just aren't educated enough. And P.S. as with anything you can get an infection, but routine hygiene and cleanliness go a long way. Tattoos are not dangerous!
One of my best friends has a tattoo and I think hers is really cool because it just says in loving memory and then her grandpa's name and shes only fourteen but I think it just depends on your age and what you get.
I think if you're gonna leave the world with anything on your body, let it have meaning to you... I'm going to get a red lawn mower on the upper left part of my pelvis as a joke because when I die I want the mortician to say "Damn she must've been funny..."
I don't see how tattoos are bad for you... don't go to "a friend" to have it done. I think if you go to a clean shop and get it done there is nothing wrong with it. It's about as important to me as the clothing people decide to wear, or piercings.
