Ford is pretty famous for it Mustangs, Like the 66' Shelby "Elanor", up until its recent Boss 302 2013 Mustangs. Ford is also famous for it's Ford Raptor.

I just like Chevy because of how the Camaro 2013 ZL1 and the 2013 Corvette look.

Totally Ford...Chevys are old man trucks and they aren't as reliable or heavy duty.

The best selling truck for 35 years is:
Ford.
There's a reason for this.
It's a better truck.

Look at the last 20 years of motor trend and see which make made the "truck of the year". That should answer your question

I would look into dodge ram they are the best truck on the road. Have owned 4 rams and never had any problems with any of them.

Obviously it's all on speculation, and what it's being used for. Each has their ups and downs throughout all time, and depends on the era you look at. Generalized info... CHEVROLET PROS: Usually tough motors and transmissions (The small block 350 is one of the most popular engines of all time). When something does break, it's cheaper because the parts are lighter weight, which usually gives an extra 3-4 mpg over a ford of the same class. CHEVROLET CONS: Chevy's are NOTORIOUS for rusting out. FORD PROS: Excluding the 80s, Fords rust notably less than a Chevrolet, absolutely indestructible sheet metal, which makes them excellent restoration projects because the frames hold up. FORD CONS: The heavier, higher quality sheet metal drags down fuel economy. Little stuff breaks all the time, generally cheap stuff, but nonetheless can keep the vehicle from being functional... So if it was up to me to decide, I would answer Chevrolet - because their break-downs aren't frequent, but a very costly major part. HOWEVER, assuming the trucks live a rough outdoor life, the Ford body would be much more intact, even if it's not quite as reliable.

Thats why govt. vehicles are usually ford. They can throw parts at it as ong as they wish, but they won't have to buy a new car due to rust damage.

BUT - A Dodge with a manual transmission will wear evenly body and soul ;)
