Tips on cartilage piercing

Double check the place you get it done is safe and has no complaints. When you pierce cartilage there is often higher risk of infection or even scarring showing up later. Make sure the place is good and follows all safety regulations. Here is some health info on it http://www.primehealthchannel.com/cartilage-piercing-information-types-infection-and-healing.html

Minji

Keep it clean. And if you haven't had it pierced yet, know that it hurts.

Get it done professionally if you can! My parents didn't want me to have it done, so I did it myself. (I don't condone that) get it don't with a hollow needle. No guns! It may shatter your cartilage & makes it take a long time to heal. Clean it out a lot, 2-6 times a day with a sea slat & warm water solution. Don't touch it, it will cause infection. Don't pick off discharge, clean it off.

I got mine Pierced at Claire's with a gun. I got it about 8 months ago and it has turned out fine. Just make sure you clean it well. And honestly, in my opinion and it does not hurt at all, just a slight pinch. Also, your hair gets stuck in it easily so sometimes it pulls it so be careful.

It hurts. Make sure you don't irritate it at all. I accidentally hit mine hard knocking into something and it got infected and had to be removed.
