Is there something around the house that i can use to boost the signal for "rabbit ears" antenna hooked up to a converter box?

i do not have cable and use a converter box which gets me most of the channels i want (the older box)...it's just that my favorite channel comes and goes or does not come in at all. if if hold on to the antenna (don't laugh) it comes in fine
alum. foil does not work...moving the antenna does not work either.

If you have any wire around wrap that onto the rabbit ears, even a metal coat hanger will do. I've done this many times with my radio outside, but I use speaker wire, and strip the plastic off of it, works great. Good luck!

I use a portable Tv when camping. I have a powered, rabbit ear antenna I use, and it does quite well for me. I got it at radio shack. it easily pulls in signals from over 150 miles away! hope this helps.
