What should i do?
Girls only.

Im on my period, and im out of pads! My mom is at work and doesn't come home until 11pm. I don't feel comfortable asking my dad, he doesn't even know i've started my period yet. i only have three pads, but thats it, and i have school tomorrow. what should i do?
p.s i dont use tampons.

for now just wrap toilet paper around your underwear and save the pads for school, if your mom cant com home in time for you to get some more. and ask a girl friend if you can borrow some.

Call your mom and tell her its an emerngecy and ask her to bring them home when she gets off work. Use the three if she says yes and you can use the others for school if your mom gets them

Borrow from a friend, a school nurse (this is awkward and it for a last resort), ask your dad (I've had to do it before and it isn't really embarrassing, he probably does know about it because I'm sure he has seen your mom buying pads and stuff he just doesn't want to come out and say it. He knows about girls and their periods and I'm sure he has picked up your moms pad before!) if last come to last just use toilet paper and make sure you bring a jacket to tie around your waist if something goes wrong.

If I'm ever in a situation where I'm out of pads, I wrap toilet paper around my underwear until I can get pads. When she gets home, ask your mom to get some while you're at school the next day (or leave a note, if you go to bed early). If you're bleeding heavily, and this will absolutely not work, then you have other options. You could call your mom and ask her if she keeps extras anywhere. If you have an adult or older friend who would have some and lives close by, call them. It will probably be less awkward than you think. Good luck.
