Favorite openings in chess?

I thinking about trying out a new opening. Any Ideas?

I'm a bit late answering this one but only found it today.

I like the Italian Game with the KIA for variety. 1.e4 gives plenty of opportunity for variety and opens up interesting options like the Morra Gambit.

With black I answer 1.e4 with 1,,,e5 which, again, makes for lots of variety. But for Q-side openings the KID is great (if risky).

ChessBase have lots of exceptionally good instructional videos on the openings.
