A perfectly cooked homemade chocolate chip cookie is waaaaaaayyyyyyy better than a silly store bought oreo.....but if we are talking about store bought chocolate chip cookies, then oreo's are better all day long

I like it when a man cooks, but, please don't take this wrong, I might be a little hesitant of YOUR "secret ingredients." And please don't misunderstand me. I wouldn't hurt your feelings for the world; it's just that sometimes we think alike (and that ain't always good) because you're just a "tad bit" mischievous. 8-)

Comfort foods are best. If I'd been in his audience and been picked to eat at one of his tables, there have been times that he's served stuff that I thought to myself, "Well, if I was on that show what would I do? I can't eat this. I can't even look at it. OH MY GOSH! The camera's on me. How can I spit this into the napkin? They're going to see me on national television. OH MY GOSH!" There would be a whole lot of Oh My Goshes going on that night!
Think I'll just give you a ringy-dingy and let you know when I'm coming for chili. That way I won't be TOSSING MY COOKIES!!! ROFLOL

That was classic....I never watched too many cooking shows, only like Top Chef and HeII's Kitchen......I think a lot of those meals are just beyond ridiculously over done for something that's just gonna end up being pooped out and flushed later......

ROFL Well, that's just my point exactly; but I don't think I could wait until the end of the show to go, if you know what I mean. I think it would just go right through me (you ever had anything do that?) and.....well, there you have it, right there in front of everybody and their grandmother. Not a pretty sight. And you live where? I forgot. lol You didn't have to tell me that. Seriously, that is one of my favorite meals. When and if I get to make it (I've got a bad back and have trouble standing for long periods of time), I usually us about 5 lbs. of meat and make quite a bit so I can freeze some....but, I believe I'm probably out... Wonder if you can freeze things and send them overnight to people? Huh, just a thought... Well, I can't help myself. I hope you enjoy it immensely and just fart yourself silly. 8-)

OK......first off....Buffalo NY area.....secondly, when I make chili there is usually about 14 - 16 quarts......I always use at LEAST 2 lbs of hamburger and 2 lbs of Jimmy Deans Sausage.....kidney beans, great northern beans, black beans, black eyed peas, garbanzo beans (sometimes), corn, and then the obvious tomato based products.....I'm drooling now.....8)

Oh holy cow, I'm drooling, too, so I'm on my way. Just don't make fun of my accent. Oh, I don't care. I just want some chili. Hey, if you put them in quart containers, they could be shipped and you could charge me whatever you wanted to for a quart now, couldn' t you? You know what, NAFTA? I've never had northern chili before...are you getting any ideas at all? hehe

I always have ideas.....like a chili exchange network .....sounds good in theory, but I don't know that I could trust the cleanliness of a bunch of strangers.....I mean, when I cook stuff I am friggin SURGICAL clean.....even if the pots or pans are "clean" I wash them before I use them....same with the counters and cutting boards.....and I'm CONSTANTLY washing my hands. Then there's this one guy that I used to hang with that was......ewwwwww nasteeeee, and he would cook chili and soup and stuff and always offer me some, and instead of telling him he's a filthy scum-bag I would just say I didn't have room in the freezer or something....

I guess you're right, like you are about EVERYTHING on here, correct? LOL No, you're teaching me a lesson people have been trying to teach me for years which is to not be so trusting. Although I just know I can trust you, but who know what might happen in transport or whatever. See, I never think of things like that. I'm awfully old to be so naive, but naive is and naive does I reckon. Well, maybe I'll get to taste that northern chili somehow sometime maybe. It sure sounds good. Uh-huh. Yes, Siree.
