A friend "saw" my Facebook message but didn't reply. Do I ignore it or reply to that?

On Facebook, you will see a blurb under your message saying "Seen (at whatever time/on whatever day)". This happens frequently with this friend; I send them a message, hoping for a response, and get the "seen" blurb. is that their way of replying if they don't have much to say, or am I being notified for being ignored? Should I say something back?

How do you know "who" saw the post? It doesn't say who specifically seen it. Just that it was seen. If you are wanting a response, perhaps put that in your next message to your friend.

No, I sent it to one person, my friend, in a private message. You get told if that person read it or not.

When people don't reply I just say " you there " or " maybe another time"

Better ask him, i think, in a playful way, so that, you do not sound needy.
like,"Hey, should i come and reply for you?"

Thank you, this is what I have:
Okay ____ (leaving my friend's name blank for privacy sake), I hate to keep bothering you but I need to ask you something. Did I say something to you that made you upset or anything? I've realized that the most recent messages on Facebook I sent you never got replied to. If you're busy I understand but I need to know if I did something wrong. I mean it's been a while since we last talked and the last few times I tried talking we didn't. I'm not mad but I'd like to clear anything up if I made a mistake. Please be honest, even if it's something major, I'd like to know what not to do next time. I would absolutely hate for there to be something keeping us apart, so I apologize ahead of time for any trouble I may have caused. Thank you for understanding.

Ok, so the first thing I assume, he/she is more than a friend, and you both are close.
Next, if something wrong happened between you or he/she is upset on something, you should send it, if everything is normal, then cut the lines after please, he is your friend after-all,It sounds like, you are dying to talk to him/her.

That is what I may have done, take my suggestion, or refuse it is up to you, Good luck.
