Zumba is super fun. You don't have to know how to dance to do it! Also water aerobics are fun. As for diet, just practice portion control. Cut back on/eliminate sugary, fried, fast, processed foods. Cut back on drinking soda. Drink half your body weight in water. If you feel hungry, drink a glass of water first, sometimes your body mistakes thirst for hunger.
Adkins diet is a good one for many people, no hunger required. Exercise---do what you love to do. Planning on doing something you don't enjoy is setting yourself up for failure in a matter of time. Have you tried Zumba? It looks fun.
