You can listen in 2 main ways. 1 Via Satellite and 2 Via a SiriusXM internet subscription. They both have their pros and cons. If you have a Sirius or XM "Plug and Play" Satellite Radio then it means you can bring that radio receiver in and out of the car and home. You just will need a car kit for the car and a home kit for the home. The home kit is easy to setup, the biggest part will be making sure the antenna is in a good spot by the window or even better if it's outside.
Otherwise if you want to listen via Internet you will have to have a SiriusXM Internet Radio account which on it's own is $14.49 but if you have a SiriusXM subscription already it's only about $3.50 extra per month. You will get an internet login and can listen via an iPad or computer. We highly suggest the Orb Music Player which would connect to any speaker and then you can control SiriusXM wirelessly through your Smartphone or tablet. http://www.tss-radio.com/installation-accessories/home-installation-accessories/orb-music-player-onmu1.html
Buy a Sirius home stereo docking kit and plug the audio cable's mini adapter to the back of the docking cradle. The other end should be plugged into your stereo at the back. Plug AC adapter into the docking cradle and one end of the power cord into the power. Plug power cord into an outlet after installation is complete and plug antennae into docking cradle. Set lock lever to 'unlock' and to 'lock' after putting in the radio receiver in the docking cradle.More steps may be found at http://www.ehow.com/how_5769058_hook-sirius-stereo-home-receiver.html.
