Should I just end the friendship/relationship?

About 7 weeks ago I went out with a couple of my cousins and I drove my car to where we went. A week later another cousin came over my house and I mentioned to her that I had went out with my cousins the week before and they hadn't offered me any gas but it would have been nice if the did at least offer, one of which is her sister. so that Sunday she calls me saying she told he sister I was upset that they didn't give me any gas(I wasn't upset that they didn't). next few days go by and I call her back to ask why she would go tell her I was upset about the gas thing when I wasn't. anyway the other cousin texts me and asked if I'm upset with her that she didn't give me gas. I told her I wasn't, so were texting and bottom line is I tell her I'm done with the other cousin for a while because she just wants to start drama over something that wasn't a big deal at all and didn't need to be repeated. guess she got wind of what I said and is upset(I have no clue why) If anything I should be upset that she's repeating things that don't need repeating. who knows what else I tell her that she's repeating to others of my business.. I text her on Christmas to say merry Christmas and got no response. haven't talked to her since then. We were really close but now I'm not too sure, should I just leave her be and call it quits??
