try to do the same routine each night before bed. if you do a few stretches or something exactly the same each night, your body will know that it is time to rest and slow down. Also, make sure you are not watching tv or on the computer 30 minutes or less before you go to bed. that can make you stay up for many hours longer. If that doesn't work, talk to your parents or doctor. They may have better advice and may give you sleeping pills which can help you get to sleep and stay asleep.
Some of the ways you can make yourself sleep include you need to make yourself cozy, you can change the room lighting, pay attention to what you eat and avoid naps during the day. You also need to reduce your stress levels and have a warm bath before sleep.
Use fluffy and fuzzy things. Surround yourself with fuzzy pillows, stuffed animals, and a fuzzy blanket. Make yourself a kind of nest. Instead of having an over head or main light, use smaller lamps, paper lanterns, or Christmas lights around your room. Also, the website www.rainymood.com emits rain sounds which are soothing and are very effective. Those light up pillows actually help me. Hope I could help! :)
