I'm less concerned about the President saying we don't have a spending problem. I'm more concerned with a Congress who thinks we don't have a spending problem. That's where all the laws are passed and all the money is spent. One of these days, the American public is going to wake up to this problem and vote these bums out of office.
I think there was a lot more behind it. He said, "We have no spending problem", meaning we have no problem with spending. It's not a problem we have, but rather it's a habit. Of course, if people would be more educated and stop going into so much hysteria, then they would know there's a lot more than this. Whatever happened to English education, people?
