To watch yes(football is way more entertaining)....for health reasons no..soccer players are some of the fittest athletes in the world ...football players are some of the strongest and toughest athletes but they develop many health problems after their career is over!
Yes. There's an element of strategy involved that's not present in soccer. The offense and defense call plays to try to outwit one another. It's like a giant chess match where the pieces move themselves.
It just depends on where you grow up. Most of the world prefers soccer (football is it's real name), and soccer is a much more common game for non-athletes to play for fun, too. It's the people's sport :)
There are so many aspects of soccer that I like over any other sport. Offense and Defense switch on a moment's notice, there aren't a bazillion time-outs that stall the flow of the game, the skill comes from years of practice and not from the weight room, there is a lot of strategy involved in attack and defense, etc. I find the people who don't like soccer are those who don't know much about the game. Once learned and understood, I think it's the best sport going.
