What worked for my migraines was using the shower massage on the back of my neck, close to the point where the skull and neck bones meet. It's an acupuncture point, and it can really help.

There is nothing you can take but you may be suffering preeclampsia. Do you have any ankle/feet swelling? Hand swelling. Those are signs of it.

Tylenol is safe during pregnancy. Shame on your doctor.

You're welcome. Maybe just take one, though, unless one doesn't work. Look at the answers saying you can take Tylenol. It's true. I wouldn't steer you wrong about something so important. :)

Headaches are pretty common during certain parts of your pregnancy due to the increase in your blood volume. If you get swelling of your ankles you need to let your doctor know right away.

Try 1000 cc's of H2O (and always listen to your doctor for medical advice instead of asking people on the internet!)

Well, in this case, it paid for her to listen to people here, and not the doctor. Sometimes regular folk so know some things!

So what exactly do you know about her pregnancy that the doctor doesn't (because ibuprofin can be hard on the liver. Does mom or baby have liver issues)? Please explain the tests that you've conducted as well as your personal medical training, craigsmom! Could there possibly be a reason that a trained medical professional might tell someone not to take a drug that the webmd trolls might not understand? It would have been very easy to call the doctors office and ask the doctor for advice on a drug that she could possibly take if she really needed it. Don't ask for medical advice from people on the internet!
