Your vision is extremely important to your quality of life. An eye injury might be treatable, but if untreated could become a permanent injury resulting in partial or complete loss of vision. And I hope you are using proper safety equipment including proper eye protection. Not just protection from the heat but also from the light. Welding is very dangerous and safety must be observed or people can become permanently injured or even die. Be safe. Good luck.
