yes. just like many people think that you need to drink water all the time thoughout the day, to stay healthy, you only need to drink it when you feel "thirsty". you dont have to drink it all day, just to drink "a gallon a day" or what not

Yes, you are supposed to eat when you are hungry no matter what time it is. One of the best things to eat would be something with high protein and no carbs. An example would be string cheese. Also, you do need liquid all day or your body will become dehydrated. Once one feels thirsty, the body is already in a state of dehydration. The human body is made up of mostly water (fluid), therefore, water is the best thing to drink and not soda or something like it with a lot of sugar. If you are hungry, your body will probably crave carbs. (sugar) and you will be hungry very soon after you eat them. This is called the rebound effect. Eat protein and don't worry about the fat content.
