Does anybody have any experience with Slapped Cheek Syndrome? Anybody experience swelling with it?

Report as

Swelling doesn't appear to be included in the symptoms of it.....some symptoms in the first stages are...a high temperature (fever) of 38C (100.4F), although your child’s temperature will not usually rise above 38.5C (101F)
sore throat
headache
upset stomach
feeling tired
itchy skin
3-5 days after these symptoms is when the "red cheeks" start to show. Here is a link. Hope it helps.

I've just seen it once or twice and I don't remember swelling being involved.

It's also known as fifth disease and it's contagious.

What? The slapped cheek syndrome? It's a childhood disease and frankly I never heard of it until about five years ago.

Lol, don't feel bad! I thought it was funny and you weren't the only one. I couldn't think of a good response or I would have continues it.
