Can someone help me with my Science Fair Project?

Hi I am doing a science fair project. It is called "Drugs&Genetics: Why do some people react to drugs differently than others?" Can someone help me with it? The website address is http://www.sciencebuddies.org/science-fair-projects/project_ideas/BioMed_p006.shtml#procedure. Can someone please help me? It is due in two and a half weeks. I don't understand it. Or can you suggest a 7th grade level project that involves variables? Thanks.

People react to drugs differently because of genetic mutations. Certain enzymes that break down drugs in the liver carry out their chemical reactions much more efficiently than chemists have been able to do.
