well I think that people marry coz they want someone who will share there soorows and happinees. They need someone who can make them happy and make them cry. They want someone who can support them when they need it

I got married because I loved the woman I was with and I knew I wanted t spend the rest of my life close to her. My life has felt stronger and more meaningful ever since. I always look forward to coming home to her, and she's always glad to see me. I am happier being married than ever before.

Tradition. People fall in love and feel that they should be married because it's been like that for years. If we could erase all marriages from history their would be a lot less marriages - more happy marriages and all most no divorce

I mostly think it's cuz that's what everyone thinks ur SUPPOSED to do. Society has been doing it for so long that it almost seems wrong or abnormal not to get married. Also u got religion. Wich makes it seems like it's a rule to get married. I personally feel it's an out dated concept. I mean I'm not against it but I don't sit and day dream about it either. There is plenty of couples who have been together for years un married and madly in love and committed. And there's plenty of married couples completely miserable. So I think marrage just seem like the next logical step for most and maybe a religious rule for others. But either way I think it's just been tradition. So most just do it cuz that's what they think couples SHOULD do

Because They are in love and they want to share their life together. People also get married for other reasons but they are not the reasons that you are supposed to get married for.

Plus that doesn't even make good sense. Historical records alone with physical proof shows belief in God existed before America was discovered. So how is it the government came up with it? The government didn't even exist.
