Talk to your Pharmacist who is trained to help. I use Zostrix (standard, not the high potency one!!!) and rub this sparingly onto itchy skin lesions. It contains capsaicin (cap-say-ih-sin) which is the "hot" ingredient in chillies. This overwhelms the neural signals sending itch responses to your brain and suddenly, all is peace and quiet. If the itch gets to be UNBEARABLE##$%%&, then you can use the Zostrix HP, but it is for extreme conditions and has to be used cautiously. Both forms are safe enough, but they can get very HOT if you put too much on - it doesn't last long, but you can't wash it off. I keep both kinds handy at all times - Zostrix is also used to wipe out muscular pain and it is pure magic there as well.... To clear the skin lesions permanently, talk to a medical Herbalist or a Homeopath - I use Golden Hypercal lotion, which they can explain and deliver supplies of, with instructions how to heal the unhealthy skin.
