I'm a diabetic if my blood sugar is 144 after dinner is that high

Normal sugar levels for a diabetic will vary upon when you have eaten. Before a meal it should be between 80-120. Around 2 hours after a meal it should be 160 or less.

It will normally go up after meals. 140 is not high after you eat
