What do Americans call 'ducks and drakes'?

Ducks and drakes is a game of throwing flat stones so that they skim along the surface of water.
We don't really have a "game" per say, but people do skim rocks. That is what we call that here.

Oh, I think once I'd seen a name before I see 'ducks and drakes'. But, maybe that was something else.

I've lived in America all my life and never heard of duck and drakes, or any "game" similar to it. The only thing I've heard of and actually done myself, is go to the lake, find the really flat rocks, and skim them across the water. o.O
