Ionosphere is the layer of the earth's atmosphere containing a high concentration of ions and free electrons. This layer is able to reflect radio waves. It extends from about 50 to 600 miles above the earth's surface. Exosphere is the outermost payer of the atmosphere extending from about 500?1,000 km (310?620 mi), and sometimes up to 10,000 km (6,200 mi).
