can random people find where you live by your cellphone number?

They could get the general vicinity, by cell phone tower "pings", but I'm pretty sure only government officials have access to doing that. Other than that, no they cannot find your address from a cell number like they could a "landline" number.

I know that they can at the very least get a general idea with the area code

yeah. by tracing your number they can find where you are.

Well they can certainly tell what city you live in by your area code. Other than that, no.

Even the area code is difficult guess location now with portability. Then there are cities that are so congested with cell service, they have overlapping area codes.

by your area code and by contacting you but there really are some crazy people out there who can find out anything because they have been stalking people for half their life and they are really good with computers

Im pretty shore theirs a site for that,but i don't know if it available to just any one.It maybe a site that you have to pay a monthly fee to access it or maybe even be a government site?
