Question about hair shedding....

i am a 26 year old man and i have noticed recently (since i started letting my hair grow) that i have been shedding on average 75 hairs a day. The 75 is a high estimate, i only actually see about 25 of them a day and that's when i am looking for them, i rounded up significantly. My hair is long on top and in back (like mohawk), medium on the edges and buzzed on the sides - the shed hair ranges from really small to long and has the root at the end, from my knowledge they look like healthy hairs and their is no yellow substance on the root. I dont ever recall shedding in the past with my short hair but i was never looking for it. Does this sound normal, for a guy?

you will definitely notice the hair loss more when it is longer because the hairs are more obvious, it is my understanding that losing 50-100 hairs a day is considered normal and that one has over 100,000 hairs on their head... I wouldn't worry, watch your hair line, if you aren't seeing a difference don't fret
