Some of the best Minecraft mods include OptiFine, Millenaire, Biomes O Plenty and Better Than Wolves. Other mods to check out include Single Player Commands, TooManyItems and Smart Moving. You can check out http://www.pcgamer.com/2011/11/04/the-25-best-minecraft-mods/ for some of the listed mods.
