So I have a sprain in my lower left back. Baseball season is coming up and I need to be healthy, what can I do to heal it quickly?

I totally understand ya.. i have like the same issue for softball :/ i went to the chiropractor and he told me to make sure not to put any unneeded pressure on it, try to avoid lifting lower body weights, and heat and ice it every night.
How'd you sprain it?
