How To Get Ridd Of Menstral (Period) Cramps !?!?????

Help! Its that time of the month my stomach relly hurts and im actually crying :'(
fyi any bad comments will be marked

I have that problem the 2nd day of my cycle. Pamprin helps along with heating pad. Lying on your stomach can offer some relief as well as sitting with your heels together and knees pointing east and west on the floor. If its still bad ask a doc for muscle relaxers.

Well you could try a heating pad or an ice pack those I always find helpful. Aspirin is always good too. Other things that I do is take a hot shower or bath. Hope some of these work for you:)

Try Ibuprofen, it's for any type of pain really, except is strongest with period pain I find.

Hope it helps! Feel better!

That's annoying then! Maybe go to a doctor and they may give you something stronger.

I assume you have pain reliever in you, as well as a menstrual pain reliever? If not, do both, since your pain is so bad. A hot water bottle, as well, over the abdomen. Good luck.

Yeah i have a bottle of warm water laying on the side of me and ive tookin Midol and Ibprofen

Good. A hot water bottle is not literally that, though. It is made of vinyl, usually, and is soft and can lay nicely on a belly, not like a bottle. You fill it with hot, hot tap water, and it has a screw top. When the water cools some, it gets turned over, and the other side is hot for a bit, Refill with hot water when it cools too much. They are very soothing. You should invest in one. They wouldn't be expensive, I'm sure. Hey, if a bottle of hot water works, great. :) Good luck. I feel for you.

im sorry your not feeling well! just try to relax all of your muscles because even though it hurts and you want to hold your stomache, it helps a lot if you just lay on your back and relax. and try to drink some coke or something, that usually calms my stomache when I have cramps and take Tylenol!
hope that helped(:

You need to chart your cycle on a calendar so you can anticipate when it will come. 2 days before you need to start taking ibuprophen every 6 hours. This will make your pain receptors less likely to cause you intense pain. You may still have cramps but not as bad.

Here's what worked for me: Cover the heating pad with a towel so that it doesn't burn your body. Get in the down-dog yoga position with your knees tucked under you. Put the heating pad between your tummy and your knees/thighs. Slowly lift your bottom (only). You may actually feel your baby basket slide/move back where it belongs. The cramps may lighten up very quickly--then again, it may not help at all. Everybody's different. Hot tea helps. If you were of legal age, I would have suggested a little warm brandy in the tea before taking any meds at all, including OTCs. for medicinal purposes only, but forget that until you are legal. Hope this helps or you've gotten medical help before then!

I don't know why, but when I have cramps I always eat icecream and then I'm better for a while. Don't ask me why, but hey. Icecream is always good.
