Curses are just words. A series of letters in a certain succession. People have become so offended by words and give it so much attention ie. If someone curses on tv. All of the fake, mock outrage is ridiculous. The energy put into that and taken away from actual things that deserve attention is creating a society of over sensitive people. Remember they're just letters in a certain order. People who are offended give it so much power to make themselves look more socially acceptable.
Some people thinks they are cool meanly kids because they know they are not suppose to use them. Some adults use them because they are use to saying them or grew up hearing them. I think cussing makes people sound unintelligent
They aren't creative. Instead of saying what the *beep* they could say what the cabbage or what the frog or what the cheese. Sometimes when people get mad, they just can't help it. Sometimes kids think their cool, but I think they're rude.
Because it seems, respect, class and morals are no longer practiced. It makes you sound un educated, immoral and disrespectful. I also may add that besides disrespect, many people haves moved away from Gods commands.
When my son was little, he went through that "repeating dirty words" phase. I told him that dirty words were "Garbage words" and belonged in the garbage can.
A week later, I hear him yell a loud F-Bomb, from the kitchen. So I go into the kitchen to tell him not to say those words--I see him holding a grocery bag over his mouth. He has screamed F*** into the bag, and is throwing it into the garbage can, as mommy told him to. Funniest thing I ever saw.
