The best solution I found is at http://www.applianceblog.com/mainforums/whirlpool-kitchenaid-roper-estate/2753-duet-dryer-side-vent-adapter-install.html. Having just done it, here’s short guide: 1. Unplug and remove the back of the dryer (slide top off first) 2. Remove punch out panel where you wish to vent 2. Feel along the top of the vent line for the hex screw holding vent to blower (it is offset to the left). Remove this screw 3. Assemble your new vent line using an L (90 degree) turn, additional vent line, and metal tape and/or self-tapping metal screws (make sure new vent aligns with blower screw hole and protrudes 2" from side of dryer) 4. Put it all back together Note: Be sure you reattach vent line back to blower with a screw. This is all easy work; just requires some patience to get that vent/blower screw. If you haven't bought dryer yet, just let the manufacturer do this for you.
