You need to first have in mind your goals and study smart. Be confident about yourself and make friends with people whom you share common things with. Become a member of the club or get involved in plays or sports.

Have confidence... Hang out with the right people the people you like... Dont go straight for the popular crowd they are fake XP.... I personally hang with emo people they dont judge you..

Just smile and don't be a jerk. Chances are someone will be really nice to you and if you're a jerk to them everyone will hate you. And remember :).

dont be influenced by the people at the school that are "bad" example: the people who swear all the time and always interrupt class

Take it from someone who's been to 11 different schools in 13 years and has never finished one whole year in a school. (Military Kid). You'll be fine. The worst part of the day will probably be lunch, just because you won't know who to sit with. But it'll get better after a week or two. Note of advice, watch it. The kids who first talk to you are usually the kids who are really desperate for friends because they don't have any. If you want to be friends with them (I've done it once or twice) that's awesome. But if you don't, and they are annoying you, try to (NICELY) break the bond before they get too attatched to you. Otherwise they'll NEVER LEAVE YOU ALONE. But be nice about it. :) Good luck.
