Is it true that gelatin is made out of animal bones

i heard it in yahoo.com

No it isn't made of bones, it is made from the bone marrow. Marrow is found inside the bones. Contrary to some beliefs, they're in fact many health benefits from bone marrow. It contains no trans fats, it provide a great deal of calcium, etc.

Yeah. It's made of bones and connective tissues of animals. - I learned this in my Foods class. Kinda gross, but I'm still going to eat it.
