Why do android apps download so much faster than ipod apps?

I use the same wifi connection and I have a 5th gen iPod touch and a Samsung Galaxy Player. The iPod pass just take a lot longer than the same android app.

It's cause apple has a different system than the android company.... And apples a lot faster cause they have a lot of customers so they get more money to get faster connections(but it has to do with your wifi too) (p.s. Android sucks :P)

Did you not read the question? First off android smacks iOS in every category except music. iOS wouldn't have half the features it has if it weren't for android. Android only sucks if your 60 years old and have no f@&$ing clue how to take full advantage of it. Lastly android actually has more customers than iOS. This is 2013. The iPhone makes up about 20% of phones; android is 70%.

This is because they both have different hardware and the propagation aspect of mobile operating systems on iOS and Android. The perceptions of the updates to their apps are diverse which is meant to fix bugs when using the devices.
