Daily meditation, no caffeine, a healthy diet and some good ole sweaty exercise. Read a book, sit in nature and observe the beauty. As was said too, see what you are scared of and just do it anyway. Seriously, no caffeine or energy drinks.it is so hard on nerves and is good to eliminate first. Good luck to you.

I suffered from Anxiety (Panic) attacks years ago. I took antidepressants for about 6 months. It helped my confidence, but really didn't give me relief. I decided to learn yoga. A breathing & stretching exercise that helps individuals release the tension they are feeling. It is a way of relaxing your mind and body. A means of being at peace with yourself & those around you. (Seriously, don't knock it until you try it). Accept the things you cannot change. Take one challenge at a time. Recognize what causes you to feel so overwhelmed/anxious. Embrace any offers of support from trusted friends and family. I was surprised to find out that family members suffered from the same symptoms. It's not uncommon for a person to feel this way. We just never hear about it.
Seek a doctor's diagnosis. I am speaking from experience. They will be able to give you the tests and analysis you need. I am not a doctor.
God's plan for you is to succeed in life. You are a child of God. Good luck & God bless. :-)
I have been suffering with panic attack for years some things I learned that helps read or do something to take your mind off it. Take a hot bath when you feel it coming on the hot water relaxs me. take a walk to get out away from everything and to take your mind off it. Laying down covered up has a calming effect. Getting on med helps to but isnt the complete awnser

Steer clear of medicines as they all have very undesirable side affects. Instead check out Bach Flower Remedies. They are all natural and you choose the type to use by what is causing the nervousness and anxiety. They can be purchased at most local health food stores or on the web. I have used several over the years and can attest to their success. And a second word of advice is to learn to "let it go". If someone or something is causing your distress, don't allow it to stay in your heart. It is important to forgive and forget. If you don't, it will eat you up and ruin your life. Prayer and asking God to show you the way should always be the first order of business. It is also important to get adequate fresh air, sunshine., exercise and sleep along with good nutritious foods and vitamins/minerals. And a little glass of red wine is good....as long as it is not a daily habit. Hope you find what you need. Remember God loves you and you are a precious worthy and treasured person!
I just start experiencing this, fast paced heart rates the feeling of fainting, dizziness etc. just turned in my halter monitors the other day waiting for results. Some people are saying its anxiety also.
To realize that anxiety is just a manifestation of fear towards a undesired outcome being a thing or a idea and to realize that inevitably there will be a outcome good or bad and that anxiety wont change the outcome.
STOP USING CAFFEINE !! and all products that have caffeine.. like chocolate, coke, Pepsi etc... READ the label if in doubt.. Caffeine is insecticide. the true name is trimethylxantheine BAD news stuff.. look up the MSDS sheet for Caffeine.. the ONLY thing that it does is cause anxiety. NO it does NOT give you energy.. Causes anxiety, restlessness, nervousness, aggression, and irritability. Just Say NO ;)
I agree with praying and also think about the things that make you uncomfortable and reflect on them, and try getting out of your comfort zone for a bit. If you stay in your comfort zone and avoid things that make you anxious, that cause more problems. But, don't try to overcome your fears too fast, it takes time and eventually it will go away. Do some breathing exercises like inhaling slowly for 4 sec., hold for 2 sec. then exhale for 6 sec. And don't sit slumped down :) Hope that helped.
Talk to different kind of people. Start a conversation without thinking what people will say about you. Always think you are the best and you can do. Set up a goal of talking to random people at random place and then try to achieve it on daily base. I did that and today I can talk at any place anywhere in front of 100's of people. You need to feel good about yourself. Hope it helps. Thanks Michelle www.sunndu.com

I have had chronic anxiety problems and panic attacks for many years now along with depression. I take a lot of meds. Seroquel has helped the most taken in combination with Xanax and Cymbalta. Other than Rx I would suggest counseling, deep breathing, having a loving dog or two, walking, meditating, listening to favorite music, and hopefully having a good support system of friends or family. My thoughts and prayers go out to you. One day at a time. Also, try to find someone you can just talk to about your feelings and fears and you in turn be a good listener. Sometimes being supportive of another person dealing with difficulties can actually help your own sense of well-being.
Cut down on sugar, coffee, meditate, exercise, get enough sleep and avoid all negative people. Don't do too much in life and think of the things you love in life. I suffer from Anxiety also. I know how you must feel.
I have anxiety often over my health, you should to try to take a warm bath and think of something peaceful like a field full of flowers. If that doesn't work then you should drink tea, if still not go see a doc. I have anxiety too! Hope this helped! :) Good luck :)
