As an instrument that God used to bring Jesus into the world. The bible says to give honor where honor is due but it also says that no one can come to the father except through Jesus so be careful not to give glory to the instrument but to the one creator of all things....God

I think she was a good example of a godly and virtuous young woman who should be looked up to with the same respect as other biblical examples of godly women, such as Ruth, Rahab, and Esther. True, Rahab started out as a harlot, but she made better choices thereafter.
Matthew 12:46 - 50: While Jesus was still talking to the crowd, his mother and brothers stood outside, wanting to speak to him. 47 Someone told him, ?Your mother and brothers are standing outside, wanting to speak to you.? 48 He replied to him, ?Who is my mother, and who are my brothers?? 49 Pointing to his disciples, he said, ?Here are my mother and my brothers. 50 For whoever does the will of my Father in heaven is my brother and sister and mother.
With respect but realistically as a very human woman who recieved a great blessing but still human in every way and has been very dead for a couple of centuries. Like all humans she was born an imperfect sinner and despite Catholic attempts to 'magic' her into sinless eternal perfection, she remained a flawed human til the day she died just as all of us will
