How much money can I store in a Pre-Paid MasterCard?

Im about to buy mine craft online with a prepaid MasterCard but I not sure if they are only those types of card that can store a certain amount no more or less. or can u store as much money as u want?

How could anybody know the answer to your question unless they purchased the card for you or had the card and were able to call the customer assistance number to find out?

Because there are different types of pre-paid cards, as you point out in your question.
