its a matter of belief and people die and its a tragic they had to go at such a young age. so many killings and death happen to children but if up a believe in god it was just there time to go
i on the other hand believe that it was just another case of something evil in todays society which was encouraged by it i mean the dude had a form of autism and was shooting guns and playing violent video games all day. if anything he should be playing monopoly or something educational
People make choices; good, bad, or indifferent, god (whichever one you like) doesn't make them for us. We are expected to make choices, take the consequences, and hopefully learn something. Even the truly horrible choices are ours to make, and the truly horrible consequences are ours to deal with. Including the innocent bystanders who get caught in the "undertow".
i belive he is real, but it's all in prospective. Plus in church it is said that god sent Noah the message to take two of every animal onto his arc. He sent the flood to kill all the horrible people of earth. After the flood it is said that he made a promise to Noah, that he will never intervene again and that we must find our own way to survive, to create law amongst ourselves. We can't blame god for what happened it's just a bump along the road of life.
As bad as this event was (or any like it), there are equally horrifying happenings around the world .. that happen regularly, and have been happening since day one. Poverty to the point of starvation, abuse, mutilations, severe weather patterns than cause excruciatingly horrifying destruction, death and disease ...
It's not like God himself controls us like puppets on a string...We have been given a great gift...Freedom of choice. We .. as individual can make choices .. some choose to do good .. some choose to do evil . There are other forces at work in situations like that .. even more complicated than just simply good and evil .. Mental health.
THIS was not God's doing .. THIS is far more complicated than deflecting blame to God.
It was not at all God's fault! God didn't "let" it happen! God gave us free will and yes he knows everything we will do bad or good but consequences will come like prison, an if he isn't saved when he does eternal hell so God doesn't let evil go on in His world without consequences. Stop blaming my Father!
because it would take more of an explanation here then there is space , I'll give you the simplest explanation.1 John 5:19 States we know we originate with God but the whole world is lying in the power of the wicked one. god has a purpose for man. this is not it. he's not calling angels. read Genesis 1 26 through 31. that's mans future
Am I the only one that knows its the doing of our evil government!!!!! It was a setup! Fake! A sham! Dont believe me? Well then y did they already have a site up "giving their hearts to those of sandy hook" before it even happened?! Or why did they have one of the pictures of a girl in a LOUISIANA SCHOOL UNIFORM? They have been setting up these shootings to get the non-gun owners behind them to help get rid of guns, incase you haven't noticed, they are chipping away at the rights of our people for the last few decades! This was not the will of god or a demon. It was our extremely evil government. They want control and nothing else. Heed my warning America we must do something. Soon. But the thing people don't know is, there are truly evil people in this world who's only goal in life is to cause pain to others. We must do something. Soon..... Before its too late....
I cannot justify this answer, so I will just say what I think. I don't feel god had anything to do with it at all. I've heard all the standard quotes, god works in mysterious ways , god called them home, we shouldn't question god.the total and complete brainwashing is astonishing . All those parents and family should not be going through the hell they are going through. The victims are alive and suffering. How I feel about the children I can't find words.
1 Peter 5:8 "Keep YOUR senses, be watchful. YOUR adversary, the Devil, walks about like a roaring lion, seeking to devour [someone]." God is not to blame for the evil that exists in this earth; Satan is.
god is all power:) but theres one thing he cant do.. he cant force his will on people..he wants people to have free will..:) and since atom and eve brought sin in the world.. this stuff is gonna happen sometimes.. we live in a imperfect world.. but you can take part to change it:)
Hey, okay, God knows things are gonna happen. If it hadnt been that, it couldve been something wore. Those kids are probably in haven now. If that hadnt happened, maybe they wouldve gone away from God and ended up in hell. Besides, God s justice is not only for the humans, but for the angels as well, even the demons. That s why God didnt destroy he devil before everything happened. So, because God is fair, there are ways the devil can gain rights over the people. So there you go. Look outside the material world into the spiritual realm. Gby everyone.
I do understand your concern and feelings....in fact when that happened --I was upset for days - God is aware of everything that is going on and he hears our moaning and cries for peace. He will in his time bring an end to this wicked world. There is no safe haven here on earth. Satan is working overtime as he is aware that his time is short.
Mankind as a whole has rejected God and that is only obvious to those who seek and search out the Bible in respects to what God requires of us. (2 Timothy 3:16) However, no matter what - God has given man free-will and man can choose to do good or bad. God did not make us robot where we have to obey commands. So, with free-will there is accountability eventhough most feel they are not accountable to "anyone." However, time will tell.....
If the Church is the hands and feet of God, it seems that God's hands and feet are tied. If the Church would unite and start taking care of the world instead of condemning it, the world might just be a much better place.
People sin. God decided it was time for them to end. It wasn't a coincidence. Yes, it is sad, and some people may doubt about God because of it. The shooter was probably tempted by the devil, or taken over by a demon, it was his choice to shoot. And he did. The kids will most likely end up in a better place than he did.
