What does range mean in math
Range is the difference between the biggest number and the smallest numer in a set of data. so you just subtract the two numbers
The range of a set of numbers is the highest number minus the lowest number.
Ex:A set of test scores: 73, 89, 92, 97, 100Range: 100-73? The range would be 27.
the highest number in a group minus the lowest one, so the range of 4 7 9 12 and 19 would be 19-4=15
Well the range (in graphs) is all real(valid) y values. For example if you have a graph that is a parabola, and its min value is 0, then the range of the graph is [0,?), which you can see I put in interval notation.Hope that helps!
Subtract the highest number by the lowest one.
You take the largest number in a set of numbers and subtract it from the smallest number in the set. Hope I helped!!!!
