God's ultimate will for us is always to glorify Him and help us grow spiritually. Knowing God's will in specific situations is sometimes difficult. People want God to tell them specifically what to do-where to work, where to live, whom to marry, etc. God rarely gives people information that direct and specific. But the key to knowing the will of God is found in Romans 12:1-2: "Therefore, I urge you, brothers, in view of God's mercy, to offer your bodies as living sacrifices, holy and pleasing to God - this is your spiritual act of worship. Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God's will is - his good, pleasing and perfect will." This passage tells us that obedience to God is of utmost importance. We are to be "living sacrifices" to Him, offering everything we are and think and feel to Him, the essence of the greatest commandment - loving the Lord with all our heart, mind and strength (Matthew 22:37).
The bible contains the will of God, here's one example of the will of God.==============================Grace be to you and peace from God the Father, and from our Lord Jesus Christ, Who gave himself for our sins, that he might deliver us from this present evil world, according to the will of God and our Father: (Galatians 1:3, 4 KJV)
A. Romans 12:1 begins with a simple but profound statement..."I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God."
Never mind. Maybe I'll tell you later. I did originally write something else but it looks like maybe you've decided to stop being argumentative. I hope that's the case. Anyway, I know he doesn't like it when people start fights.
