Is Freshman year REALLY important like the school system says when it comes to getting into colleges ?

Im struggling is all and im so paranoid :/

Colleges only care about (mostly) 3 things: Cumulative GPA, ACT scores, and the application itself. It all depends on what you want to study in college (may change as you get older) and where you want to go. Continue to do your best. Effort goes a LONG way.

Not really. The only thing you need to worry about is your overall grade for freshman year. Colleges look for improvement over the four years.
