I don't know of any reason. I'm not gay and I do have a bit of a time accepting that lifestyle but who am I? Gay people have a right to happiness just like anyone else does. Gay marriage could open up a door for a slight few to take advantage of the system just because they can get married. You'll always have a few bad apples.
As a bisexual I cant see any good reasons why it shouldn be legal. I know some people feel that it goes against their religious beliefs. I think its a little unfair. After all I cant marry the girl I love because of it but straight couples can marry
1. They will be assaulted by religious people who are judgmental and believe they are superior. 2. They will be assaulted by stupid people. ...oh wait that's pretty similar to the first one. 3. There is the dilemma described by Dwight on the Office.(Always baffles me!)
It's unnatural, immoral, and gives children the wrong idea, I just read an article in a British newspaper talking about how petifelia will soon be excepted as a natural sexual preference, c'mon where do we draw the line?!? I say with gay marriage but its too late for that!
I am religious(Jewish), and yet I still believe if two people are in love, they should have a right to, no matter of age, gender, race, religion etc. there is a separation of church and state, so why is Christianity influencing the law?
The only reason in my mind that the government would be against it is MONEY,think of Soc Security payouts , when one spouse outlives another. Pension plans going to the surviving spouse. I'm not against anyone marrying . They should have same rights as any couple.
