What's your favorite place to get food around Oakland City Center?

I can't get enough of Cafe 817, amazing homemade nondairy soups everyday & I love the turkey baguette. Some love the trio salad & the pasta specials are always great. You can sit outside in the sun on a nice day or enjoy a european breakfast (poached eggs & prosciutto are amazing!). Coffee is great too.

Rattos is another favorite - deli done the right way. Other great options are Ba Vo for Vietnamese & Tamarindo for Mexican small plates. Fri farmers market is also great down in oldtown. Enjoy!
