Very rarely do people die from the bite......the young, old, and people allergic to insect bites are more susceptible to death. Most people don't know they have been bitten til the symptoms start...usually about 30 to 45 minutes after bite. If you seek medical attention asap then not a problem....besides the fact that it ain't good for you. Between 4 and 7 people die from bites in the USA each year. Outta 300+ million folks here....your odds are good you will be okay. I see them everyday....it's the I may not see that worry me.....but I don't sweat it, just am aware they are here.
