It depended on where the Indians lived. Depending on location they eat a variety of fish, deer, rabbit, eel, corn, duck, geese, squash, pumpkin, buffalo, elk, caribou, deer, clam, shellfish, wild berries and a variety of nuts.
Native American's planted corn, beans, and squash. This was known as the Three Sisters method of farming and made up the staple of thier diet. Together, they contained all the nutrients needed, so they did not have to eat meat if they ate these three reguarly.
